DSDCore Player Technical Review
A test article for DSDCore.review
This is the first test article published through DSDCore.review.

Playback Architecture
DSDCore Player uses a playback pipeline designed around high-rate DSD output:
- PCM decoding
- Sample-rate conversion
- SDM conversion
- DSD / DoP output
SRC
The SRC stage converts incoming PCM to the target sampling domain before SDM processing.
Current test targets
- 44.1 kHz PCM
- 96 kHz PCM
- DSD128
- DSD256
- DSD512
Technical Note
Playback reliability and predictable startup behavior are treated as part of audio performance, not merely as UI behavior.
Example signal path:
PCM → SRC → SDM → DSD → USB DAC
